Shine a light

Just finished these, the shoulderlamp worn by the USCMarines and toolboxes as seen on LV-426.
Cables will be added from wire after printing just like for the other equipment.
The big crates are featured on the Nostromo inthe first ALIEN movie.

- My mommy always said there were no monsters - no real ones - but there are.
- Yes, there are, aren't there?
- Why do they tell little kids that?
- Most of the time it's true.

Stay frosty!

Finished the USCM Marine helmet today. Opted to leave the straps out so I can make them out of putty later on and adjust the lobster tail to the heads position. Next up will be the shoulder lamp...

That's great, this is really fuckin' great, man. Now, what the fuck are we supposed to do? We're in some pretty shit now, man! - Pvt. Hudson

I don't want to set the world on fire....or maybe I do.

Next one off the list, Ripleys flamer as seen in the first movie. Not 100% accurate to the movie version as I think I used some fanmade prop as reference inbetween the originals. Cables left out as I did with the smartgun too. Those will be added out of fine wire after printing.

Ash: Let's try it. I mean most animals retreat from fire, yes?
Dallas: Fire, yeah.

Ugly, but tremendously uneffective!

Cpt. Dallas laser pistol as seen on the Nostromo.
Another one off the list...

Did they ever get shot? Do you even Lambo?

Tricone drill

Finally got around to model the tricone oil drill I needed for my mining rig scratchbuilt.

Took forever and I'm happy to be done with it. Next up is choosing the right size to print it.

Alieny goodness

Done!
After a lot of research ( aka watching the movies over and over ), comparing lots of pics and making the USCMarines handbook my bible I finally got around to model some USCM equipment and weaponry. Ressources vary a lot, so I won't call all of the items 100% screen accurate. For the flamer I found at least 3 different versions and settled for the one I liked most myself and combined it with other views I had of others. Can't wait to get these printed.
Next up some more ALIEN stuff. Probably will continue with Ripleys flamethrower from the first movie and maybe a marine helmet. We'll see.
